**  3/31/20 UPDATE –  Prince William County School has cancelled classes through the remainder of the school year and the VA Governor has imposed a stay at home order until June 10th.  For the safety of everyone in my home and yours, I will be rescheduling any sessions on the books until after June 10th or until the order is lifted. I will be contacting you directly to make arrangements with a new date that fits into your schedule. **

I take public health seriously and strive to provide the safest environment for my clients. I have always sanitized the studio before and after your session, my own hands are cleaned before and during each session and I do not allow clients that are known to be sick into the space. But I feel I need to add more information to my website in light of recent events.

Due to the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, there will be additional policies in place regarding your session until further notice. Please refer to the CDC website for the latest information on Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). Please also refer to this flyer on how to stop the spread of germs.

General health policies:

  1. Everyone is required to wash their hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds upon arrival and hand sanitizer will be utilized frequently during the session.
  2. The studio, as always, will be fully sanitized in between clients and is professionally cleaned once every 2 weeks.
  3. Only those being photographed are permitted to attend the session to decrease the risk of exposure/transmission.

Session Admittance Policies effective immediately:

The following criteria will be utilized to reject admittance into my home studio and delay the session:

  1. Anyone in your household or mine showing any active cold/flu symptoms (including but not limited to fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, runny nose, body aches, chills, etc).
  2. Anyone in your household or mine who has traveled outside of the country in the last 30 days (prior to your session).
  3. Anyone in your household or mine with known contact/exposure with a person who has tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) in the last 30 days (prior to your session).

Please do not show up to the studio if any of these criteria apply to you. You will be turned away at the door and no refunds/reschedules will be given.

If you or someone in your household is sick and you give prior notice, the session will be delayed until at least an additional 14 days from the onset of symptoms of all household members. As always, your level of comfort is of extreme importance during this current COVID-19 pandemic period. Sessions can be delayed at the request of the client and your non-refundable retainer fee can transfer to a future session for up to one year (subject to current pricing at the time of rebooking).  Danielle has photographed newborns up to 6 weeks old with success due to a relaxed approach to newborn photography. After 6 weeks in delay of session, the approach will be based on milestone and pricing adjusted accordingly. Lifestyle sessions in your home can be completed at any point with beautiful results for your family.

Policies that may be in effect in the near future:

  1. Upon the event that Prince William County Public School Systems (PWCS) ceases classes due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the session will be delayed until normal classes resume.
  2. Bookings will be accepted/denied based on current health regulations/recommendations or at the photographer’s sole discretion.

Sessions may be rescheduled/delayed at the photographer’s sole discretion as this emerging and rapidly evolving situation continues and more information becomes available. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding. These policies are being put into place not only to protect you and your baby, but to protect my family and other clients as well. I will be keeping an eye on the situation and making adjustments as appropriate and will keep you informed and updated of any changes via this page.

Sincerely,
Danielle Hobbs Photography
