Maternity Session at Silver Lake in Haymarket, VA

If this is any indication of how behind I am on blogging, this sweet family is now on baby #2 and I never got to blog the birth of their first!! I did get their first maternity session blogged here: https://www.daniellehobbsphotography.com/maternity-photographer-northern-virginia/

But for now – instead of trying to catch up on the last two years, we will start fresh. I’ve shared them on socials so you may recognize their faces! I got to see a lot of them the last few weeks for maternity, a dad & daughter session, their Fresh48 homecoming and finally the newborn session in studio – and it’s always such a fun time. I say often that my clients become friends and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Thanks to covid, everyone’s plans were tossed out the window since March. We finally got their maternity date scheduled for 36 weeks – assuming we had plenty of time. Well, about a week after this session, baby boy decided he couldn’t wait any longer!! I’ll tell more of the story in the next blog post, but for now here are some favorites from their morning maternity shoot at Silver Lake. We had the place to ourselves with plenty of social distancing and wonderful fall temps thanks to the overcast skies.
