Welcome Home Baby Session / Fresh48 in the time of Covid

Two and a half years ago, I was there to witness this sweet girl – now the best big sister – enter the world. Despite my blogging, we’ve had numerous sessions since then and in January, they came into the studio for her 2 year milestone session….  this happened:

Yes, it’s shakey b/c I was SO SO SO excited! I could tell what she had to announce and I just couldn’t be still. We started talking about how amazing photographing this second birth would be, and the day after when Celia would get to meet her new baby BOY (yes, she was right!). That was January. We all know what happened a few weeks later…. and just like that, hospitals were no longer allowing extra people at the birth. Thankfully by the time he was born DAD was allowed in the room!

So we came up with a new plan. We coordinated the time so I would be there when they brought baby home – and still capture that first meeting of siblings! It is seriously one of my favorite videos ever now and I am so thankful that this family rolled with the uncertainty of “these unprecedented times” and we were still able to capture so much joy and love.
